Platinum Jubilee of Indian independence is a celebration

The Platinum Jubilee of Indian independence is a celebration of freedom and protection from the clutches of British rule. We commemorate this day by remembering all the martyrs and freedom fighters who gave up their lives and sacrificed themselves in order to make our India free. As we celebrated this day, it was a great day in the history of seon ashram trust, Gandibagilu. On this day we felicitated 142 senior citizens of Neria, Gandibagilu, Thotatthady, Charmadi Village and Belthagady Taluk. Also we had the privileged to honours 150 deserving people who really helped the seon ashram in the difficult moment especially during the time of covid-19, we also honored the benefactors and well wishers. It was a moment to thank and to be grateful towards them who cared, loved and extended helping hand towards our Ashram.

The day celebration started with hosting the Thiranga by Major general M.V Bhat the retired army. Shri Shri Shri Mohandas paramahamsa swamiji of Manila inaugurated the programme and spoken that only when there is humanness, Unity, understanding and brotherhood, there is a way for the well growth and development of our Country.

Our constitution is one of the best constitutions, because there is a lot of respect to all the religion, freedom to express their opinion and ideas. In order to build our Nation towards the peace and harmony. We should eradicate corruption said Vicar general Rev Fr Jose Valiaprambil of Belthangady Diocese.

We should have the patriotic society so first of all let us respect our senior citizen who have shown us the way to lice, let us cultivate love, respect trust, unity in our own Land. It will raise our patriotism and work hard for it said M.L.C Pratap Simha Nayak (Member of Vidhansabha parishath)

The Managing Trustee Dr. U.C Paulose presided the Programme. Sunni Youth association president Dr. M.S.M Abdul Rashid Zaini , Rev. Fr. Mathew Vettamthadathil , Parish priest of St. Thomas church Gandibagilu, Shri Sathish Shetty ( Director of Shri Kshetra Dharmasthala Rural development, Dakshina Kannada District), Retaired Doctor Kalamadu, Mr. Dennis Mascarenhas, Seon Ashram Trustee Mrs, Mary UP, Mr, Subhash U.P, Thomas M,P and Mr. Asif (Director of Maimuna Foundation) were present.

The entire programme was organized by with the celebration of Shri Dharmasthala gramabhivruddi yojane and Seon Trust Management, Staffs, All worked hard for the success of this programme of this platinum jubilee Indian’s independence day as well as felicitation programme. Rev. Fr. Mathew Vettamthadathil welcomed the gathering. Mrs Shobha U.P(Administrative officer) organised the programme and Mrs Dinavathi proposed the Vote of Thanks and concluded the programme with National Anthem.

It was indeed a momantable day to our Seon Ashram Trust.
