Visitors from Alliance Franciase Mangalore on Sunday 8-5-11

We were honored to welcome about 10 students of the “Alliance Franciase” French Class  Mangalore. Apart form that we were especially delighted to welcome their lecturer Mr. Ronald D’Souza who showed a genuine and great interest in our resident’s fate.

The group was welcomed by Ms. Sowmya UP, our Manager  and Ms. Mary (Trustee). After this, the students were shown all the wards and explained the purpose of our service by our counselor Ms. Merin. The group was rather interested in what is developing here – especially in the income-generating projects and the vocational Craft activities which are guided by our volunteers Rebecca and Tim from Germany. When visiting our souvenir stall, they asked many questions regarding who is  involved in the craft works and how. Moreover they spared their midday break for serving food to our residents in the dining hall.

All students mentioned to be willing to help Seon Ashram in the future in the some or other way. However, we ware already grateful for their interest in our cause.

To conclude, we would like to thank Mr. Larkins who initiated this visit and organized the transportation for his classmates.
