June 2nd – an event and many visitors

Sahyadri Educational Institutions

On this day we were honored to welcome about 150 students from Sahyadri Educational Institutions (College of Engineering & Management Institute of Health Sciences, Adyar, Mangalore) who came at about 10.45 a.m..Many among them are Psychiatric Nursing students. Ms. Sowmya, Manager of our Trust has explained the genesis of the Ashram in brief.

After their introduction the students were shown the different wards and had the opportunity to collect more information regarding our Centre, which is also part of their study. Us and especially our residents were happy and grateful that they initiated a cultural programme.
The group was also interested in seeing our people’s Craft Works and in the service of our foreign volunteers. After their program our volunteers shared their experiences with them.

Divine Call Centre

On the same day we were delighted to guide father Abraham d’Souza of the Divine Call Centre Mangalore through our premises explaining him the purpose of our institution and the way we serve our residents. He showed a great interest in their fate and shared a prayer with us in the chapel before he left back to Mangalore.
