To honor our mother nation India on its birthday, the Little English Medium High School held a huge function: It started already early in the morning with the flying of the Indian flag, the singing of our national anthem and an assembly of all students dressed properly for the following function and we were honored to welcome a member of the educational ministry.

Basketball Field for our Children

“A healthy mind in a healthy body” – Sport is a vital factor in the development and the education of a school going child and youth. For some of the children sport means fun and a distraction from the studies, but it also contributes to the development of social skills such as the acceptance of rules and other social skills. Apart from that sports contribute decisively to the development of a children’s brain.

Therefore we are very grateful that one of our volunteers, Julian, has collected sufficient funds from friends, relatives and others interested in our school to build a sports yard for our school. The recently built yard can now be used to play basketball as well as volleyball.

We herewith would like to express our deep gratefulness to Julian and all the people in his German community having supported us.
